I go way back with Tres, perhaps one of their first loyal customers! Tres was around the block from where I worked, so I would either stop by before work or during lunch to pick up the goodies! Back then, I remembered when the "Smoked Salmon" came out, I really wanted to try it, but did not like the cream cheese, the owner came out and said he would customize it for me and named it after me! - Helen's smoked salmon! thank you! My all time favs were - Egg salad, fried shrimp, matcha ichigo, PBNJ, baked apple with custard. They recently added sushi egg, which became one of my favorite as well! Buying a loaf of the 6 piece thick cut Tres Bread is always a must! Their bread is always so fresh and soft. They don't add much preservatives as if the bread is left too long, it'll start to mold!

I have been by about four time and it's usually either packed or out of sandwiches by the time I get there! Definitely recommended getting there somewhat early if you want to get anything popular! We love the bouncy bread! We got the egg salad sandwich. Always a go to for us! Tasty and filled well! No extra surprises like relish or pickled in the egg salad. 4/5 Sesame chicken was good! Lots of flavor but the chicken is to bread ratio was not great. I probably got two full bites of chicken before the rest was bread. 3/5 Shrimp cutlet was pretty good, nice flavor but similar with it being light on the actual insides and mostly bread 3.5/5 We usually get the strawberries and cream (4.5/5) but tried the ube today! Not overly sweet but a little grainy. The ube was the purple sweet potato powder mix mixed with whipped cream. I personally wasn't a fan of the beans also being in there but I can understand why people would like it. 2.5/5

Love the sandwiches here. I stop by every time I get my car serviced. Recommend 10/10

Always fresh and such a great selection! I placed an online order early this morning and misread the pickup date. Not only did they accommodate an earlier pickup, but they were very responsive via email. If this place were closer to my house, I'd be here every week!

Stopped by here after a slightly disappointing lunch somewhere else. What a delightful little grab and go place. Had just been to Japan in October this year and was so reminiscent. The coffee jelly os affordable and tasty. Wide variety of sandwiches to select from. I went with the Tres Special for dinner later. It had half each of ham cucumber, potato salad and egg salad. Bread was soft and ingredients flavorful. Service was friendly and helpful. Space contains mostly pastry cabinets, an area to grab napkins and whatever else you may need. Located in a strip mall parking available.

tl;dr - big sandwich selection, wait can be long, often runs out of popular sandwiches The sandwiches here are have Japanese cuisine fillings, from katsu to egg salad. All sandwiches are on a soft white bread that has crust cut off and is diagonally cut into two halves. The wait can be really long in the late morning so I would suggest going earlier. Popular flavors can also run out by then. Service is fast and the staff is friendly and efficient. Favorite flavors for me are: 1. Shrimp cutlet - breaded and fried shrimp patty with a katsu sauce and shredded cabbage 2. Egg Salad - nice thick layer of lightly seasoned egg salad 3. Strawberry and cream - sliced strawberry and whip cream

The best sandwiches in Seattle. They make their own bread in house. I've never had a bad sandwich here, and service is also very nice. Here are my favorites: * Blazin' Sesame Chicken * Chicken cutlet * Egg salad * Potato Salad * Matcha Ichigo Also, don't sleep on the coffee jelly - it's the perfect amount of sweetness and coffee flavor. You can also pre-order sandwiched ahead of time to avoid the long line and have the best selection because they don't sell all the sandwiches in store unless pre-ordered.

Yummy yummy traditional Japanese sandwiches on the softest bread with the crusts already cut off. They have a variety of sweet and savory but the strawberry with whipped cream is a classic that can't be beat! The simplicity of it is perfection! I tried it also with custard and while it was good, didn't like that quite as much. Egg salad was also quite nice. Sandwiches are like $5-7 each and a great deal! They would be a perfect picnic pick up!

Still enjoying their sandwiches! Tried their new Ube sandwich and what a treat! It's right amount of sweetness. This last visit, I got the Shrimp Cutlet, Miso Katsu, and Ube. Staff is always friendly and helpful. And unless you go when they first open, they're always busy. This last visit, they're celebrating their 10th anniversary. If you spend at least $20, you to spin a wheel for prizes -- merchandise, gift card, etc. Happy anniversary Tres Sandwich! Wishing you continued success!

I think the savory sandwiches here are 3.5 stars, but the dessert sandwiches are 4.5 :). I came around noon on a weekday, and they were almost sold out of all of their sandwiches. I really wanted to try the black sesame, but didnt get the chance to. I tried the miso katsu, pork katsu, fried cod, and creamy crab. I also tried the strawberry sandwich as a dessert one. The miso katsu was by far the best, but I think the coldness of all of them threw me off a little. It worked the best for the cod one as it had tartar sauce. The regular katsu was a little dry, and the crab was way too soft and mayo-ey. I will say the strawberry sandwich was fantastic, and Ill still have to be back to try the red bean matcha and black sesame!
